see %%diary-tortillaflat%% and %%diary-emptybowl%% for comments re the lovely weekend which was shared by the three of us, and also our dear friend mk-kj-etc, who to my knowledge does not have a diary on the interweb, but who very much should have a diary on the interweb, because of how she's a brilliant genius, etc.

today, valerie sports a lovely vintage ensemble which calls to mind a young jacqueline onassis, but it must be noted that valerie rocks that shit way harder. accenting the blue a-line polyester short-sleeved dress is a lovely strand of classic pearls worn close around the neck, which is in turn accented by charming earrings which absolutely defy all attempts at description, excepting such effusive adjectives as "transcendent", "magnificent", "awe-inspiring", or "fucking beautiful". finally, the addition of valerie's oversized, square-ish, nonstophot sunglasses, complete with graduated-tint lenses and low-set arms, consummates this masterpiece of modern wardrobing.
